FALL/WINTER FASHION TRENDS 2024
Do you have no idea what to wear this Fall? Let’s talk fall fashion trends from a fashion stylist point of view. Different from previous years, this year the season is all about mixing unexpected textures, shades of colors and cool boots. Talking about color, when we refer to fall automatically some colors come to mind and that is because we see them every year. Basic Fall colors are brown, orange and red. What usually changes is the tone of these colors. However, the colors of this season are: burgundy, grey, olive green and obviously black.
1. BURGUNDY & OLIVE GREEN COLORS
Burgundy and Olive green are giving it all. These are the perfect colors to make a smooth transition from summer to fall and then winter. They are super versatile colors that can be combined with textures like leather or even animal print.

2. THE CAPES

The cape comeback is real. This accessory is functional, fashionable and has been around for many years. Sometimes it’s associated with royalty and has served an important role during fashion history. The cape is being reimagined by designers and it’s bringing back a classic or boho style from the late 2000’s.
3. TRANSPARENCY & FEATHERS
Transparency and feathers are two strong things that can elevate an outfit. Lace transparency is usually more of a summer thing but when you add a classic touch like a blazer or a satin garment can be a good transitioning into fall. Feathers, on the other hand, are not for everyone. They are a strong statement piece, but as I said before combining textures is a big thing during this season.

4. STUDS

Something I personally love and is back are studs. Yes, you read that right. You are going to see them everywhere from clothing, bags, shoes and even accessories. These can make an outfit stand out and trust me when I tell you shoes with studs are the best thing you can do.
Fall/ Winter has become one of my favorites fashion seasons even though here in Puerto Rico we don’t really have a marked seasonal change. I really enjoy looking back to all this fashion shows and scouting the best fashion trends from every show to present them to you, my fashion lover.
